Protective and repairing care for your dog's paws, nose, and elbows.
In hot weather, pavement can burn or damage a dog's paws. Bitter cold winter weather, as well as walking on de-iced sidewalks that dry their pads, make a dog especially susceptible to chapped and cracked paws and dry pads. Any time of year, objects they encounter (rocks, thorns, glass, etc.) can puncture pads and lodge in their paws.
A dog's nose is very sensitive and can become painful when the tissues become dry, cracked, or chapped. Many dogs, as they age, develop "crusty nose". Other dogs acquire a "crusty nose" from nosing in the dirt. Too much sun exposure and allergies from plastic feeding bowls are the sources of other nose problems.
