A valuable nutrition source. Providing trace minerals found only on the ocean floor, kelp brings what our farm soil no longer delivers. Kelp is rich in iodine which helps support gland function, especially the thyroid. Like people, hypothyroid is seen in many dogs today. Iodine is increasingly deficient in food. Kelp is an easy way to restore this necessary part of diets. Environmentally sustainable, our kelp grows in the cleanest cold ocean water anywhere.
Our Kelp is certified organic! All Kelp is vegetarian and our North Atlantic Ascophyllum nodosum is the plant you want! Don't be fooled by other retailers of Kelp making claims...KELP IS KELP! It can vary from crop to crop as any plant but generally supplies a high trace mineral and low vitamin value.
NOTICE: Due to the fresh harvesting and natural cultivation of our Organic Kelp, you may occasionally notice pale, fluffy fiber bundles in the Kelp. These are Kelp "flowers." We do not use chemicals to dissolve these flowers as other suppliers do. These flowers are actually safe and nutritious for animal consumption.

Review of Organic Norwegian Kelp
This is a wonderful, healthy product that I have been supplementing my two dogs, one Golden Retriever and also an Australian Shepherd, for years. This company and the kelp were recommended to me by a fellow dog handler/lover who also uses this product. I would highly recommend both the company and the product to any other dog lover and person who cares for their dogs!!

Great stuff!!
A friend of mine who breeds Corgies recently recommended this product for fleas. He lives out in the woods and he said that his dogs never had a problem with fleas. Not sure if that is what it's meant for. I have tired natural/herbal remedies for my poodlemix but these past few months it wasn't working. Since getting the product my dog has been eating up his food like crazy. Before he would just nibble here and there. My dog really likes this stuff, so I am happy that he is eating well, better than before. Not sure if it's working for the fleas yet.
